La Fábrica de Sevilla has been the setting for a day for a group of MBA students from ISCTE Lisbon, who participated in various activities focused on digital transformation, business innovation and entrepreneurship. This event reaffirms La Fábrica de Sevilla’s commitment to attracting international talent, offering students an approach to the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city of Seville and its growing global impact.
One of the highlights of the day was the round table discussion with the participation of leading technology startups in Seville. Students were able to hear first-hand the experiences of Patricia López, founder of MyHixel; Javier Duro, of Footters; and Lucas Gozálvez, of Caleida. All of them shared how they have transformed their respective sectors through digitalization and innovation. This roundtable aimed to give the students an understanding of how innovation can be applied in traditional sectors, a key learning for their professional future.
In addition, the Portuguese MBA students participated in a hands-on Design Thinking Training, a methodology that encourages creative problem solving. In this workshop, the teams developed innovative solutions to real challenges posed during the workshop, culminating in the presentation of their ideas. This dynamic not only allowed them to apply theoretical concepts, but also fostered collaboration and disruptive thinking, fundamental skills in today’s business environment.
The students’ participation in this event is a reflection of the international focus of La Fábrica de Sevilla, which strives to attract and train young global talent.
This event is part of a broader strategy that includes programs such as the Softlanding Guide for Digital Nomads and International Entrepreneurs, which facilitates the integration of foreign students and professionals who wish to settle in Seville. La Fábrica de Sevilla, with this type of activities, consolidates its role as a hub of reference for young talents seeking to combine their training with real professional experiences in an innovative environment.
With initiatives like this, La Fábrica de Sevilla not only offers students the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and networking, but also boosts their professional development in a global market.
