The Chamber of Commerce of Seville, through La Fábrica de Sevilla, has opened a new edition of CámaraTech, a 100% subsidized incubation program designed to support entrepreneurs and startups in the Seville ecosystem with a technological or digital profile.
According to data provided by the Chamber, 29% of startups fail because they do not meet a market need, another 29% because they run out of money and 23% because they do not have the right team. For this reason, this initiative seeks to support companies that are in an early stage of ideation and validation of the business.
After the success of previous editions and the great involvement and improvement shown by the participating projects, CámaraTech returns with a new edition, whose registration can be done as long as the startup or project has a technological or digital focus, is in the incubation, ideation or validation phase.
The idea is to promote local entrepreneurship, so CámaraTech offers an environment conducive to the growth of startups through advice, mentoring and networking opportunities, through individualized high-level mentoring, impact training sessions, a networking network for entrepreneurs and the opportunity to create synergies and relationships between projects and agents of the ecosystem. The itinerary goes from the design of the startup, to the creation of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and the validation of the business opportunity.
Proof of this is the investment attracted by one of the projects from previous editions, Beepor, which managed to get an investor of the level of Tom Horsey to invest in its startup shortly after going through the program.
There are already 28 projects promoted and, in addition, some remarkable milestones are the validation of ideas in all projects, the recognition established to projects in various events such as the case of Hermes Security, a project nominated in the TOP 50 of the Emprendemos 2023 Awards.
Another feature of the program is the diversity of projects, sectors and ages of the participants, who, despite being so diverse, manage to adapt to each other and even establish interesting collaboration synergies.
The evaluation of the applications is already being carried out by a selection committee made up of representatives of the Chamber of Seville, key players in Seville’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and experienced advisors. Twenty entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in the program and details and applications can be consulted and submitted through the application form on the program’s website.
