La Fábrica de Sevilla together with the Chamber of Commerce of Seville, together with the Territorial Delegation of Educational Development and Vocational Training of the Regional Government of Andalusia, launches the I+D FP Seville program, with the aim of subsequently extending it to the rest of the Andalusian provinces, which will allow vocational training students to share their integrated projects with 138,000 companies in Seville.

Enhancing the employability of Seville’s vocational training students

The I+D FP program will connect the integrated projects of our FP students with companies in Seville, making the integrated project of young people in their best curriculum to enhance their integration into the professional world. In addition, if your project is focused on the creation of a company, from the Chamber of Seville we have all the solutions and tools to set up the company and promote your business idea.

How does the I+D FP Seville program work?

The companies will be able to access a part of the integrated project of the young people and “if they find it interesting, the organization will be connected with the student so that they can present it in situ in more detail and have a real presentation experience”.

If the project is focused on the creation of a technology-based company and susceptible of being “a scalable model at a global level, it will enter the ecosystem of La Fábrica de Sevilla, where it will receive advice to become a real project”.

If they are not technology-based companies, the Chamber of Commerce will make its Emprésate 360 degrees service available to students to analyze the viability of the same providing free advice for the business plan, legal registration and search for funding. The best projects that can be converted into business will participate in December in the International Congress of Startups held in Seville.

In addition to connecting students with companies, students participating in this program will have access to more than 100 professional events that will allow them to create a useful network of contacts and boost their networking.

Who can participate in the I+D FP project?

The recipients of this program are the students of the second year of Vocational Training, who are delivering or have delivered their integrated projects as a mandatory part of their training cycle. Through this I+D FP platform, we are going to ask them to submit their integrated project following the indications of the curricular process. All in a simple format of no more than 20 minutes.

The deadline for uploading projects to the platform is July 26, 2024.
