La Fábrica de Sevilla launches the second edition of Summer Emprendedor, a series of intensive technology and entrepreneurship workshops that will take place from June 24 to 28 at the Seville Chamber of Commerce Training Campus.
The Seville Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in collaboration with the Seville City Council and the city’s technology startups, is promoting a program for young students and professionals whose objective is to learn how to develop companies and startups with global reach.
During a week and 50 hours of work, participants from schools, universities and graduate schools in Seville, work on their professional profile and test their innovative skills by developing business projects in teams that will be presented to a jury next Friday to select some projects that will be incubated with European funding by the Chamber of Commerce of Seville within its CámaraTech program during the last quarter of the year.
During these five days, they work with professionals from internationally successful startups on the key levers for the development of a real Minimum Viable Product (MVP), financial planning tools for fundraising and communication resources needed to present projects and lead teams.
They also visited a Sevillian startup with international operations to learn about its work processes, development phases and the keys to international expansion.
The program was inaugurated by Ramón Bullón, director of development of the Chamber of Commerce and coordinator of the Seville Factory, and the president of the International Startup Association Josu Gomez intervened, highlighting the professional opportunities that are currently available in the world for this type of entrepreneurial profile. Laura Suarez Ceo of Jugars Startups and Talent Hub also participated in this inauguration.
Collaborating during the week working with entrepreneurs are some of our international referents in entrepreneurship such as David Troya Ceo of Ikono, Jose Antonio Perez ceo of Cover Manager, Antonio Bustamante Ceo of Qamarero, Juan Carlos Blanco of Strategyco, Sergio de la Puente and Javier Duró of Fusion Startups.
All the entrepreneurial projects developed during the week of work will be analyzed by a large team of experts: Francisco Leal from CamaraTech, Antonio G. Abad, secretary general of AJES, Antonio F. Morilla, president of the entrepreneurship commission of the Chamber of Commerce, Ana Cristina Jimenez COO of the Seville Factory.
All participants have an invitation to the International Startups Congress to be held in Seville in December and will attend the Super Sprint of Fusion Startups.
With this type of initiatives developed by the Seville Factory, we enhance the capacity of the city and its positioning in high added value entrepreneurship, a key factor for the generation of qualified employment and opportunities for young national and international entrepreneurs.
