Post: Startup Talk with Wuolah

On April 10 we held a new Startup Talk where we were joined by Enrique Ruiz, co-CEO of Wuolah.

Wuolah is a platform founded by four university students from Seville ( Javier Ruiz, Jaime Quintero, Enrique Ruiz and Francisco José Martínez) in 2015 that serves as a repository of notes and today has more than one and a half million users.

Currently, students can download notes in all their educational stages, including ESO, baccalaureate, FP, university, master’s degree and even competitive examinations.

During the Startup Talk, Enrique explained how Wuolah offers students a way to monetize their work. Students can upload their notes to the website, other students download them for free and the portal shares advertising revenue.

They have expanded to Latin America, including notes from various countries such as Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Peru, as well as Spain and Italy, within the platform. In addition, they aim to implement online classes, combining the use of digital resources and interactive tools to enhance the platform experience.

It was a talk full of inspiration and learning about the future of education, which left us with a clear vision of how innovation and technology can transform how we learn and teach.

In addition, on this occasion we had the valuable collaboration of Santander Startups to make the event possible.

We ended the event with a networking session where attendees were able to connect with the entrepreneurial community of Seville.
