The Government has launched this Tuesday the new National Office of Entrepreneurship (ONE), an initiative launched by Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan through the Next Generation EU funds, which provides for a web portal with information to promote the functions of promoting the Spanish ecosystem.
The move comes a few hours after the announcement by José Luis Escrivá’s own Ministry of the creation of the State Society for Technological Transformation (SETT), a public company that will group together the different technological assets of the State, with an initial investment capacity of almost 20 billion euros. As explained by María Teresa Ledo, Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, at a round table at the 4YFN event at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the ONE platform is already active and is born with the mission to support, give support and accompany the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem: startups, innovative talent, public entities, associations, training centers, investors and professionals, among others.
The ONE Platform seeks to promote innovative entrepreneurship by providing facilities and knowledge to those who want to launch their project and also attract international talent taking into account the new measures contemplated in the law of startups, including clear and concise information on the main procedures to be carried out by those who want to be part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain.
It also offers training resources developing high quality content aimed at startups and innovative entrepreneurship, as well as other agents of the ecosystem, providing strategies and tactics for business growth.
In addition, it promotes entrepreneurial culture and provides the entrepreneurial ecosystem with reports and face-to-face and digital events that encourage networking.
In general terms, it aims to promote innovative entrepreneurship, attract international talent, offer resources for attracting talent, promote technological development and financing, facilitate collaboration between the innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem, and promote entrepreneurial culture.
