The best entrepreneurial companies looking to increase their investment and customer acquisition will be selected to exhibit in Seville before important funds or business corporations in the third edition of Al Andalus Innovation Venture on September 24 and 25, at the Pabellón de la Navegación, within the PCT Cartuja.

 

The participation of relevant investors and innovators such as Jacky Abitbol (Cathay Ventures), Aquilino Peña (Kibo Ventures), Yaiza Canosa (GOI), Izanami Martínez (Soulgate), Hugo Mardomingo (Alliron), Luis Garay (Samaipata), René de Jong (Spanish Association of Business Angels), Antonio Iglesias (Endeavor) and Pedro Clavería (Playtomic) has been confirmed.

 

Al Andalus Innovation Venture advances in the development of its third edition. It opens the call addressed to Spanish or Portuguese scaleups and startups so they can apply to participate and be selected in order to expose their innovative solutions and business models to the top investors and business corporations that will meet in Seville on September 24 and 25, in the Navigation Pavilion, within the area of the Scientific and Technological Park Cartuja.

 

The extensive program of the 2024 edition of Al Andalus Innovation Venture will include a session on the afternoon of September 24 to showcase the best Spanish and Portuguese scaleups, which are looking to complete an investment round of more than 800,000 euros, or already have a turnover of more than one million euros. They will take the stage in one of the main halls of the event to present one by one to the investment community.

 

In addition, on September 25, the best startups from Spain and Portugal that participate will have a prominent presence exhibiting to business corporations in sessions of sectors and technologies such as artificial intelligence, health/biotech, energy, traveltech/tourism, cleantech, fintech, insurtech, proptech, foodtech and agrotech.

 

The call is open until May 25 for both scaleups and startups to send the documentation with a summary of their company (‘deck’) in order to be evaluated by the management team of Al Andalus Innovation Venture. REFERENCES OF THE 2023 EDITION

In the 2023 edition, held last September, Al Andalus Innovation Venture brought together in the Navigation Pavilion more than 1,900 participating professionals, including representatives of 400 startups (of which 56 were finalists who presented their initiatives to investment funds and managers of business corporations); 174 companies and entities with exhibitors; 155 investment funds and 72 business corporations. All this in an environment of innovation specially designed to favor networking and matchmaking for business opportunities, and to hold B2B meetings.
