The founder and president of Cabify, Juan de Antonio, gave a presentation to more than 200 young entrepreneurs at the latest edition of Startups Talks, organised by La Fábrica de Sevilla, an initiative promoted by the Seville City Council, the Seville Chamber of Commerce and Founders Sevilla.

68% of urban public spaces are occupied by cars while 32% are for pedestrians. However, cars are idle for 95% of their potential usage time. Urban planning and the new urban ecology inevitably have to review people’s mobility, and this is where a business model such as Cabify is based, which facilitates transport for citizens from a technological platform that already incorporates vtc, taxis, bicycles and electric motorbikes.

During the course of the conference, the city of Seville became the epicentre of technological innovation and entrepreneurship with the celebration of an event that brought together more than 200 people at the offices of La Fábrica de Sevilla in Marqués de Contadero.

One of those Spanish startups known as unicorns, with a valuation of over 1 billion euros and a presence in Latin America.
